Esquiss Auto Styling Parts - End of an Era

Its with much regret to tell you that Esquiss our French styling counterparts are ceasing to produce their quality styling parts for all makes and models before the end of this year.

Although its a sad time to loose these pioneers we can only underline if you were thinking about getting any parts you
better start making your final purchases.

Some parts will be reduced to clear so contact us soon to discuss your needs. We will be taking non available parts off our site
within the next few months while this transition takes place.

Time Flies

Can't believe its nearly been a whole week since Knockhill has passed. Its went by in a flash! We were bestowed four trophies all in all which was a nice surprise for two of the owners.

Julian's supercharged 106 scooped three which was rather wonderful and Rab Elliott picked up one which was for his shockingly clean concourse 205 CTI.

It was a real pleasure to meet with some new and old friends while up there for the day and hope the event will grow even more, since it has showed so much potential.

The guys from the 106 forum were especially engaging, and were great to catch up with personally.

Cheers for all the great feedback and a special thanks to a top bloke from the Peugeot Sport Club with a Peugeot 205 GTI that gave us a hand that afternoon - you are class!

French Car Hot Hatch Event Sunday 16th Sept

Someone said ‘that’s summer officially over’ but we reckoned it never really started!
The weather has played havoc in 2012 with holidays, BBQ’s, festivals and of course car shows.
Now heading in to autumn we wonder if it will be more of the same or an Indian summer?
Either way, making the best of it is what we all do, so hopefully you enjoyed this quirky British summertime!

On the subject of unique weather, Knockhill Race Circuit, Scotland’s premier racing venue is hosting a Performance French Car Magazine event for all the lovely French metal out there.
Although the weather is one element we can’t predict, (especially at Knockhill) on Sunday the 16th September we are sure you will have a good time, in a great place, with lots to do.

Everyone at Ecosse has been working hard on a very special Peugeot 106 that has had a mind bending amount of time spent on it. It’s not long till it comes out to play, as it will be making its debut outing for the show.

We are hoping to have a few other interesting cars, ranging from modified, restoration, race etc. If you have an Ecosse car that deserves a day out, let us know via our facebook page.

So if you fancy coming to say hello, or just want to see what we’re up to, we’ll see you there.
We’ll definitely have a marquee just incase ;-)

Project Sale

It a sad fact of life that sometimes after pouring heart, soul and your hard earned cash into a project car, its time to say goodbye.
This normally comes after many a year of shows, mags and a fair bit of cruising.

David Clark had hoped to do all those things but has made the painful decision to part from his much loved 207, due to the grown up pressures of getting on the property ladder. Although David is ready to sell he would really like to see it go to a deserving owner that could get the full enjoyment of showcasing the car that’s had very little exposure. It's ripe for a magazine feature, shows and more importantly to simply enjoy.

This car was definitely a labour of love with masses of design detail that was entirely done by ourselves, so it won’t disappoint for quality and finish.

David did plan to include a sounds build and performance engine work, so it's still got scope for the new owner to put their finishing touch to this special Ecosse 207.

Here’s the good news, David is prepared to take £6,500 o.n.o, which equates to a silly bargain for someone, opposed to what he’s spent. Go onto our project car page to see the car in detail or contact David on davidclark.1@live.com for further details.

We look forward to keeping this unique 207 part of our special car family with the help of it's potential new owner.

Could be you?

Purely Peugeot?

We love our pugs here as you probably know, but increasingly we are being asked to look after other types for cars.
This has mainly came around from long standing loyal Peugeot customers, changing their cars to a different brand, but still wishing to use our services. This has been going on for 15 years now, and we always assumed everyone knew this was the case.

Being so well known for being Peugeot specialists, we were surprised to learn from our customer's feedback that they didn't think we did work on anything else and should make it known!

Not only are we fantastically equipped for any Peugeot & Citroen work that's required. We can help you with any other car you have, whether its a service, repair or bodywork.

Just call us to find out how we can help.

What's with the Weather?

If this down pour keeps up we won't need cars just boats!

So until then, minimise any danger in this weather by checking your tyres have good tread to disperse the water and increase grip.

In these difficult financial times its also tempting to miss service schedules, but most people don't know we can maintain your factory warranty, use genuine parts and deliver a superior service
while saving money! Call us today so we can tailor a service package for you.

Pugfest coming up...

It's only a few days now until Pugfest 2012 which will take place on Sunday July 1st. It's at the usual beautiful venue of Prescott Hill in Gloucestershire and is always a great event for all Peugeot fans. Fingers crossed for some dry weather!

More info on the Pugfest website

Not long until French Car Show 2012

This year will be the 10th French Car Show and it's set to be a big one! It's become one of the "must see" shows of the year for fans of Peugeot, Citroen and Renault. The show takes place at Donington this year on June 17th so don't miss out.
